We’re inviting students, parents, fellow teachers, and school leaders to nominate a teacher who has made a meaningful impact on student growth and learning.
When submitting your nomination, please consider how this teacher supported and inspired a student’s learning journey:
- How does this teacher inspire a love of learning and support students’ potential?
- How does this teacher show excellence in teaching and help students achieve?
- How does this teacher use assessment to support progress and confidence?
- How does this teacher make an impact beyond the classroom?
Your story can highlight moments of:
- Encouraging a student to overcome a challenge
- Finding creative ways to help students understand difficult concepts

Who Can Nominate? FAQs
I’m a student, can I nominate my teacher?
Yes! You can nominate a teacher or team of educators at your school or your previous school.
Can I nominate myself?
No, you cannot nominate yourself but you can tell us about great projects you’ve been involved in on our Facebook page (and this may lead to someone nominating you)!
Can I nominate my wife/husband?
No, you cannot nominate a spouse, civil partner or family member.
Can I nominate a P.E. teacher or is it just classroom teachers?
Yes, we invite nominations of anyone responsible for instruction including music, arts, sports and educators responsible for emotional learning such as counsellors and behavioural therapists.
I’m a parent. Can I nominate my child’s teacher?
Yes! We want family nominations of teachers and welcome your perspective on how a teacher has supported you child’s learning and growth.
