Premier David Burt and Minister of Education Diallo Rabain congratulated Dean Foggo for winning the Bermuda Education Network’s 2021 Outstanding Teacher Award.
Premier Burt tweeted the photo below, saying: “Congratulations to former PLP MP Dean Foggo for winning the Bermuda Education Network’s 2021 Outstanding Teacher Award. Thank you to all of Bermuda’s educators who play a vital role in shaping the future of Bermuda through their dedication & commitment to our youth.”
Minister of Education Diallo Rabain also congratulated the award winning teacher, saying, “I want to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of all of Bermuda’s teachers. But today, I want to highlight the newly announced Bermuda Education Network’s 2021 Outstanding Teacher of the Year, Mr. Dean Foggo.
“A veteran in education, Mr. Foggo is a shining example of sincere passion and inspiration for Bermuda’s youth. We commend him, and on behalf of the Ministry of Education, I say thank you.”
The other finalists for the 2021 Outstanding Teacher Award include Stephanie Correia, Andrea Isaac, Troy King, Kendra Lightbourne, Vernon Lambe III, Patricia Nesbitt, Makeba Stowe, Winsome Wilson Place, and Florence Brown.
